Getting from Newark Airport to Fordham

Take the monorail to the NJ transit station at the airport. Take the NJ transit train to Penn Station. (There are many direct trains. But some trains may require changing in Secaucus.) Once at Penn Station, you will need to get to Fordham. This is discussed on the "venue" page under "trains."

Or, you can take a cab or car service. Proceed to the "Ground Transportation" area. Do not accept offers of transportation from anyone while getting to the ground transportation station. There, the official dispatcher will direct you to legal and safe transportation services. The dispatcher will inform you what your charge would be. Look at http://www.panynj.gov/airports/newark-liberty.html

Here is a bus line that will take you to Grand Central for only $16. That's quite reasonable. From Grand Central, it is easy to get to Fordham, as I've written elsewhere.

Make sure you tell them you want Fordham University ** IN THE BRONX. ** It's next to the Bronx Zoo. If they don't know what that means, get another taxi.
