This is the twentieth in a series of annual international meetings devoted to promoting the
applications and development of Computer Algebra and Symbolic Computation. Topics include
computer algebra and symbolic computation in engineering, the sciences, medicine, pure and
applied mathematics, education, communication and computer science.
ACA 2014 will be held July 9-12, 2014 at Fordham University, New York City.
The first ACA was held at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA, in
1995. The 2013 conference was held in Malaga, Spain.
Submission:
----------------
After the acceptance of the Special Sessions, talks are submitted to session organizers
(see Meeting Format). Within each session, talks are traditionally one half hour in length,
including time for questions.

Important Dates:
---------------------
March 1: Deadline for special session proposals.
May 15: Deadline for talk submissions.
  May 20: Notification of acceptance.
May 31: Final day for standard registration.
May 31: Deadline for extended abstracts / short papers of up to 5 pages submissions.
  July 9 - 12: ACA 2014 Conference.
Topics
---------
The ACA conference series is devoted to promoting all manner of computer algebra applications,
and encouraging the interaction of developers of computer algebra systems with
researchers and users (including scientists, engineers, educators, and mathematicians). Topics
include, but are not limited to, computer algebra in the sciences, engineering, medicine, pure and
applied mathematics, cryptology, education, and computer science.
Meeting Format
--------------------
The meeting will be run in the standard ACA format where individuals are invited to organize
special sessions (see http://math.unm.edu/aca.html). Individuals can propose a special session
by sending an e-mail to the Program Chairs of the Conference. The ACA working group will decide
on the acceptance of proposed sessions. Within each session, talks are traditionally 1/2 hour
in length.
