The conference and lodging will be on the Bronx campus of Fordham University, called the Rose Hill Campus.
See the Fordham maps.
We will stay in some of the newest and nicest residence halls. These are private, double, or triple rooms, all with private bath. All are air-conditioned.
Everyone wishing a private room will be accommodated (who is paying the full price). Spouses stay free in the same room. No one under the age of 18 may stay in the
unversity residence halls.
The price of $75 per day includes breakfast and lunch. There is no tax. There will be a discount for graduate students.
The last night you can stay in the residence halls is Saturday July 12. The first night is July 8.
Please go to the registration page to sign up for accommmodation. The $50 rate is intended for graduate students. Those requesting it will be assigned roommates.
No new accommodations can be reserved, as of June 22.
Rooms on Campus
Each room will have a pillow, blanket, and a linen packet that comes complete with sheets and a towel. There are no refrigerators, radios, TVs, or clocks in the individual rooms but there is a clock in the lobby. Some lounges have TVs and microwaves. There is soap and toilet paper available, but no shampoo or other toiletries. There is wifi throughout the building and on campus, and we can provide log in information at arrival.
Alternate Accommodation
For those wishing to bring children, there is a recommended hotel in New Rochelle, Marriott Residence Inn, 35 Le Count Pl New Rochelle 10801. This is a fourteen minute
train ride from campus.
Another option is the Days Inn near Yankee Stadium, 997 Brook Ave, Bronx, NY 10451. This is very close to the Melrose Station of Metro North Railroad, and is much closer
to Manhattan than the hotel in New Rochelle. It is a new place and seems to be very reasonable. Melrose is not a major station. It is a five minute
train ride from campus.
Arriving on Campus
